Today is our 4th wedding anniversary. :) We are lucky to have Kristen and Walker here this week, so K has graciously offered to babysit so that Chris and I can go out for a special dinner.
There are a million and one reasons why I love Chris. But I think that one of my favorite reasons is his sense of humor. Let me tell you a little story...
Shortly after we got married, Chris and I were spending some time together one Saturday afternoon. We weren't doing anything special...mostly running errands, cleaning the house and taking care of lose ends from the week. Throughout the day I was getting increasingly irritated with my honey because he kept pushing my buttons on purpose to be funny. Finally, by dinnertime I lost it. "NO MORE!" I told him. I turned away to try and ignore him. Just then, I felt a whisper in my ear..."Lifetime commitment. Lifetime commitment." I burst out laughing and of course forgave him for being such a dork during the day.
Yes, a lifetime commitment we have made and one that I will forever be glad of. :)
