i3 Ed Tech Consulting

imagine. inspire. innovate.

These are the foundations of i3 Ed Tech Consulting that
will be used when time is spent with teachers, principals and support staff to build their capacity with the integration of technology into their daily work lives.

i3 is the brain child of Meghan Daniel. A self-proclaimed tech geek and lover of learning, Meghan spent 8 years sharing her passions with middle school students outside of Denver, CO.  As both a science teacher and technology coordinator, Meghan worked hard to establish an environment that was rigorous, relevant and rich in relationships to engage the 21st Century Learners that she was privileged to teach.

And then there was i3.

Recently relocating home to Michigan, Meghan is now leading learning for other educators, integrating her technology expertise with instructional experience in literacy and science. Well on her way to becoming a Certified Google Trainer, she has conducted many sessions on the use of Google Docs for educators, offering teachers and leaders practical strategies for collaboration and increased efficiency through technology. She has co-presented on sessions on "The Highly Engaged Classroom", "Creating High Quality Common Assessments", and "Building Relational Trust"  for teachers and leaders across the state of Michigan. Holding a B.S. in Zoology from Michigan State University and a Masters Degree in Secondary Education from Aquinas College, Meghan was able to combine her love of science and technology with literacy integration into science instruction during her graduate work. Meghan is a co-author of Kent ISD High School of Innovation Biology, Chemistry, and Physics curriculums, integrating Common Core Standards into their high school blended learning environment.

One of Meghan's latest and most exciting endeavors has been the acceptance into the Google Glass Explorer Program! It is through the use of Glass and the collaborative efforts of those in the program that she will strive to find relevant and transformative uses for this tool to be used in education. At the very least, it's an outstanding jumping off point to think outside-of-the-box.

In her spare time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her two, super awesome kids, laughing hard with her husband, reading books with paper, and posing for the pictures that her 3-year-old son demands.

Meghan is available for professional development and consulting services. Please contact her for more information.
