Homeward bound...for a visit

So it official, Sofia and I (Chris) are coming back to Grand Rapids for a visit. We are arriving via a Twin Cities connection on Tuesday May 13th shortly after lunch and will be returning west Sunday night. I haven't been back to our mitten shaped state since Christ's birthday celebration of 2006. Meg is still in school at this time and my elementary school remodel/addition is in between phases. I am excited to see everyone and show off all of Sofia's expressions, moods, sounds and yes, vocabulary. She has learned the sounds of a dog and is in a phase where every response is "ya!!!" She is also quite the climber. Whether it is a the couch, the ottoman, playground equipment, or even her high chair! I can't express how much I am in love with this girl. To share this love, is a deep part of what I adore about being a father.

You up for a bachelorette party Sat. May 17th Meg? If not, I would love to make plans to get together another day while you're in town! Take care,

AWWW!! I love it!! I watched it at work but then got caught because they heard Chris's voice at the end through the earphones... One girl whipped around and said, did I just hear a muppet?! haha

At this rate, Sofia will soon be climbing the trees in our yard. Maybe Chris will get that tree house built after all! David is right - we will have to baby proof up another six feet or so.

One can only wonder what was in her mind after hugging the dog.She was trying to tell something with her hands stroking
her own neck. Soooo interesting.
Words are not far behind in that bright little mind.

Special videos.
