Finding thankfulness in love, life and parenting with a few adventures along the way.
It's pretty funny to watch Layla watch the floor underneath Sofia like a hawk when She is eating...
mmm. I love mac n' cheese, too! Add a little fresh basil and some chopped up tomatoes or peas - delish! Especially the velveeta shells & cheese.mmm...maybe I'll have that for dinner tonight.
Sofia's face is a study in pure concentration in the middle picture. I am thrilled how open she is to tasting new things, although sometimes the result can be kind of silly. For example, Sofia did a double-take when she noticed I was wearing OPI's Senorita Rosalita nail polish. She carefully examined each finger on one hand and then, one by one, inserted a strawberry-colored nail in her mouth for a taste test. The strange feeling of her little tongue and gums checking things out made me laugh out loud till she moved my finger over to her two razor sharp puppy teeth for a crunch test. Hugs to you all.
all we need now is for her to start liking lucky charms, and she will be set to have my daily diet when I was 14-16. ha! glad to hear everyone is feeling better.
I have several comments here. 1. I think it is awesome that Sofia is eating mac and cheese right off the table--no plate, no spoon! haha!2. What does it say that Chris capitalized "She" when referring to his daughter? 3. Andrea, who puts basil in their mac and cheese? I mean, I've heard of hot dogs, but come on! The beauty of mac and cheese is its simplicity. 4. Senorita Rosalita nail polish DOES look tasty. 5. She is SO CUTE!
I wish that was one of the categories I buy - I'd send out a truckload! Can't tell I'm missing all three of you!! Make sure you add Frank's Hot Sauce to the next batch - and I really believe she is ready for "Biscuits and Gravy"!!
Now you have me craving some mac and cheese!
I just realized that Sofia is eating SPIRAL macaroni...that's why it tastes so good. Something about those spirals always tastes better:)
