My Hubby, My Hero

Last night, Chris, Sofia and I headed over to our friend's house for an awesome Italian-style potluck. There were about 10 of us in all with 3 babies on top of that! It was a blast and a fantastic way to celebrate the long weekend. After lots of laughing, playing and catching up, we called it a night and headed back to our place. Enter my hero.

While we were driving on the highway, Chris and I heard a funny pop sound and my car began to pull to the right. I had blown a tire! We pulled over to the side of the highway and Chris immediately got to work. In just a matter of minutes, we were back in the car with a spare tire on the axle and we were on our way. Thanks to my husband, we were able to avoid be stranded on the side of a highway in the middle of the night.

Ahh, I love him. :)

Chris is a man of so many talents! :-) I'm sorry you had the flat, but actually glad that it happened when Chris was with you to save the day. I'm a strong believer in the strength of women-----except in these cases! Maybe by the time Sofia is grown, we won't have to even have tires that need changing any more............

Love you,
Mom

Great luck that this happened when Chris was there and you weren't in a huge hurry. No stress for Megs and it's all taken care of.

We blew a tire one time and Tom was with me. I was just so excited that we weren't in a hurry anywhere and that Tom was there to guide me on how to fix it (I wanted to learn). I said "This is the best time to have this happen!" I was so excited. Tom thought I was crazy. :)

Ah so........
Man who fix tire is a man indeed!

But aren't those little bike tires a hoot??

I had to drive 45 miles with one and it is not MY thing!!

Ahh to have the internet back after a three day weekend of internet problems! Fantastic resolution with the tire! My personal MO is to look helpless until two cop cars pull up and I have to watch them play rock paper scissors to see who has to get their hands dirty....
