My first week back in the classroom is done. I survived. My room is set up, copies have been made and lessons are planned for the week. I'm just as much excited as I am scared. I feel like I'm on this constant roller coaster of emotions ranging from ultimate preparedness to ultimate panic. This will go away...on the last day of the year. :) Truly, the anticipation of what's to come and the unknown of it all is what makes this part of the school year so emotionally difficult.
Week 1 is down and Week 2 is just around the corner with 137 bright pairs of eyes waiting for me. And for this, I am thankful. :)
