Ok, so I've got this weird thing happening. It appears that my broken belly button does not like some of the stitching that was done during surgery and now, a MONTH later, my body is beginning to reject it. I'll spare you the details but it's seriously the most bizarre thing I have ever experienced. The doctor referred to the action as "spitting a stitch" to which I immediately started cracking up. Apparently, not only do I have a broken belly button, but it can spit back at you too! Ha! I knew I was talented. :)
It's important to be able to laugh at the wild and crazy adventures your body goes through as one ages -- and I'm certainly an expert at this! And for this, I am thankful.
