It's always nice when you can feel proud of your hometown. Recently, Newsweek listed my hometown, Grand Rapids, MI, as one of the nation's top ten dying cities. It was completely weird. The mayor wrote an incredible letter to the editor of Newsweek in response to their assessment of this beloved city and then the community got involved...
This is worth every minute of watching. :)
Yay Grand Rapids! I am definitely honored and thankful that this is the place that I am from.
