Today, I emailed back and forth with an old friend. Our friendship goes back to our freshman year in high school and is one that is incredibly dear to me. As we caught up, I couldn't help be be struck with how natural and easy our friendship has remained over 15 years despite spans of time without communication. We always pick up where we left off. And, as we grow older and begin to navigate through life's more difficult moments, it's nice to know that we will always be able to rely on one another.
A timeless friendship...for this, I am thankful.
